What is Collagen LED Red-light Therapy
Collagen Red Light Therapy is a non-invasive skincare treatment that uses low-level red light (typically in the wavelength range of 600-1300 nanometers, with 630-660 nm being the most effective for collagen production) to stimulate skin health and promote collagen synthesis.
This therapy leverages the power of red and near-infrared light to penetrate the skin, offering a range of benefits without the harmful effects of ultraviolet (UV) rays.

Benefits
Boosts Collagen and Elastin Production
Improves skin appearance
Anti-aging benefits
Speeds up wound healing
Reduces inflammation
Enhances blood circulation

How does it work
-
Light Penetration: Red light penetrates the skin’s epidermal and dermal layers (up to 5-10 mm), reaching fibroblasts—the cells responsible for producing collagen and elastin. Near-infrared light goes deeper, targeting underlying tissues.
-
Cellular Stimulation: The light energy is absorbed by mitochondria, the "powerhouses" of cells, boosting adenosine triphosphate (ATP) production. This increases cellular energy and activity, triggering repair and regeneration processes.
-
Collagen Synthesis: Enhanced mitochondrial function activates the production of collagen and elastin, key proteins that maintain skin structure, elasticity, and firmness.
-
Anti-Inflammatory Effects: Red light reduces pro-inflammatory cytokines, promoting a healing environment in the skin.
